Manchester United To Offer Juan Mata As Bait For Midfielder

Manchester United could offer Juan Mata to AS Roma as bait in their bid to sign Roma's Kevin Strootman. [The Sunday Mirror]

Although last week Roma's sporting director inisisted Strootman was not for sale, Louis Van Gaal will try to throw Juan Mata into the deal to tempt the Italian giants.



Mata could initially join Roma on loan with a view to a permanent deal.

Juventus are also interested and could be willing to pay up to £20m for the Spaniard who signed only in January for £37m.
